At VeraContent, we are looking for a temporarily native-level English and Quebecois French speaker, who is based in Canada, to cover for the community manager of our client’s social media account for the Canadian market. Our client is a company dedicated to fighting food waste.

Main tasks:

• Adapting social media content from English into Quebecois French, when necessary
• Posting content sent by the client (you will not be responsible for content creation)
• Interacting with the community on a regular basis
• Responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner
• Creating stories on a daily basis to increase engagement and interaction
• Informing the client’s team of any complaints, inquiries or questions received from followers, in order to support the community and strengthen the brand reputation

What we’re looking for:

• Native-level English and Quebecois French (required)
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Quebecois French
• Based in Canada (required)
• Experience in community management
• Strong knowledge of societal trends in the Canadian market
• Proactive and able to come up with creative ways to interact and engage with the audience
• Available during moments throughout the day to speak with client points of contact via Slack
• Understanding of social media best practices for businesses, especially on Instagram and Facebook
