The feedback I received throughout the internship guided me to work on specific skills. Everyone at Vera is constantly working to make sure employees have a positive experience, with regular meetings and skill-sharing events to help them grow. It’s great to see everyone making an effort to create a friendly, welcoming and cohesive team.

A VeraContent internship is the gold standard of what an internship should be. I was entrusted with translation, editing and writing jobs from real clients. The feedback I received, and even just casual office conversations about projects others were working on, taught me nuances of translation work that can’t be learned any other way.

My internship at VeraContent allowed me to become a more capable and well-rounded writer and translator. I gained practical skills that could only be acquired on the job, and I now feel prepared to continue my career path after university.

In the 10 months I worked at VeraContent, I experienced the value of working in a team of motivated, determined and hugely inspiring professionals. My colleagues have made my internship so special, always pushing me to improve and maximize my potential.

I’ve learned a lot at VeraContent, especially about how to be a self-starter and an independent worker. Working remotely for half of the week made me more responsible, and taught me to keep myself on track without reminders from others. From the beginning, everyone was welcoming and treated me as an equal, not “just” an intern.
