At VeraContent, we work on a monthly retainer basis, but we also understand that the volume of content work can vary from one month to the next. 

We require a minimum monthly retainer of at least 1,000 EUR per month, but beyond that offer flexible “credit packs” that are invoiced upon purchase. The credits are valid for 12 months from the time of invoice, after which they expire.

Credits can be used toward any of our services in any language. Once a credit pack is  purchased, we provide weekly updates with a detailed breakdown of the work completed, the number of hours remaining in your pack and a reminder of when it expires.

Your monthly retainer and credit packs can be used toward purchasing hours for any of the services we offer at VeraContent, including: 

  • Multilingual content creation
  • Creative translation
  • Social media management & localization
  • Graphic design

Credits are deducted based on the following hourly rates, which vary based on service level, language group and level of urgency.

Group 1 standard hourly rate:€100 EUR
Group 2 standard hourly rate:€150 EUR
Specialist rates:If your project requires a specialist profile, we may add up to 50% to our standard hourly rates.
Express turnaround*+20% of total assignment value
Urgent turnaround*+50% of total assignment value
Minimum order**€50 EUR

**All assignments will be assigned a minimum value of €50EUR, equivalent to half an hour  at €100EUR per hour.

These rates do not include taxes or other fees, such as VAT, that may be applicable.

Deadlines are calculated based on the number of hours required. For deadlines falling within the “Express” and “Urgent” categories, an extra fee will be applied, as outlined above.

  • Standard: Submission within three to five working days for projects of up to 10 hours per language.
  • Express: Submission in less than three working days for projects of up to 10 hours per language.
  • Urgent: Submission in less than one working day for projects of up to 10 hours per language, or submission of any assignment that must be made outside of our operating hours.

For projects requiring more than 10 hours of work per language, deadlines will be calculated proportionally.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CET/CEST, with the exception of Spanish national and regional Madrid holidays. Any assignment that requires work outside of these hours is considered “Urgent” and would be charged at our Urgent rate.

To ensure availability for Urgent assignments that require submission outside of our working hours, we need notice of at least one business day.

We’re obsessed with quality. By creating a tone guide for every client, our linguists always know how to use the right language for your local audience.

All of our writers, translators and editors have extensive experience working on texts intended for mass publication. The utmost care will be taken so that the content we produce represents your brand well in each language, is error free and fit for publication.

All translation, writing and rewriting work includes a revision step by a qualified editor who writes professionally and at a native level in the target language.

If we come across something that isn’t clear in a source text or assignment briefing, we will always let you know. We never submit work we aren’t sure about.
