You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.

Here’s everything you need to know before you scale up your global content production with us.

At VeraContent, we value transparency. Our rates are based on hourly estimates, usually at a standard rate of €110 per hour. The hourly rate applied to each project can vary based on the talent profiles required. But rest assured, you'll know exactly which rate to expect before we start work on your project. We require a minimum monthly commitment of €3,000 per month and beyond that, we offer flexible “credit packs” that can be used toward any of our services in any language over the course of 12 months.

For projects that involve ongoing work of a similar nature, we agree on a set number of hours per month or per assignment at the start of the project. This number may need to be adjusted if the scope of the work changes. For projects where the nature of the work varies greatly, we track hours spent per assignment and charge at our agreed-upon hourly rate. The time spent on each assignment will be shared with you in automated weekly, biweekly or monthly updates, along with the amount of credit you have remaining.

If a project requires last-minute resources or for team members to be available outside of our normal operating hours, we would let you know upon accepting whether or not we need to charge a fee for urgency. Get in touch with us to explain the details of your project, and we’ll let you know which rate would apply.

All of our work includes a second revision by a native editor before it is submitted to ensure that it meets our rigorous standards. When working with a set rate per assignment, up to two rounds of additional revisions are included in the price in order to incorporate client feedback.

Credit packs are invoiced upon purchase, while monthly packages are invoiced at the start of each month. You’ll receive your invoice via email, and payment is expected within 30 days. We accept payments via bank transfer, PayPal or Wise (formerly Transferwise). Invoices can be issued in EUR or USD. Our rates do not include taxes or other fees, such as VAT or bank fees.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CET/CEST, with the exception of Spanish national and Madrid regional holidays. To ensure availability for urgent assignments outside of our normal working hours, we require notice of at least one business day.

A Free Content Consultation is a one-and-a-half-hour meeting where you would get to meet the person on our team who would be your dedicated Project Manager. During this call, they will present their ideas on your current content and how they would approach the project. It’s also a chance to get to know you and your brand better, and discuss the best possible workflow—all before any contract is signed. By the end of that meeting, we would also establish a timeline and agree upon milestones to hold us accountable throughout our collaboration.

At the end of our Free Content Consultation, you and a VeraContent Project Manager will have the opportunity to discuss a test assignment based on your specific project’s needs. Some examples of a content creation test could be:

  • Writing a blog post in any of the languages we work in
  • Creating 3 social media content pieces
  • Transcreation of a newsletter from one language to another

We carry out test assignments for all of our offered services as a way to showcase our talents and offer a taste of what it’s like to work together before starting any regular collaboration. If you decide to hire VeraContent after the test assignment and want to use the content, it will be included in the first month’s fees. If you don’t decide to hire us, you would not be charged for the test assignment but would not be able to publish the resulting content on your platforms.

We’re confident that we will meet your expectations, thanks to our rigorous talent selection and editing processes. However, if for any reason you aren’t satisfied with a particular assignment, we will provide a full refund. Note that we retain the rights to any refunded assignments, and they may not be used for publication.

If a language you need isn’t on this list, we can still help! Get in touch with us to explain the details of your project.

We have an exceptional team of writers, editors, translators, social media experts, community managers and content creators who are all native speakers of the languages they work in and experts in their craft. Through the evaluation of work samples and custom test assignments, we use an established process to qualify new talent to be part of our database. We currently have more than 300 pre-approved linguists, social media managers and content creators across more than 25 global markets—and growing. We’ll assign a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the work of the linguists assigned to your project. They will be your day-to-day contact, available during our normal working hours to accept new assignments and update you on the status of your project. We’ll also assign an Account Manager who will be your contact for anything related to your agreement or your overall satisfaction with our work. When choosing the best professionals for the job, we always consider the subject matter, style and specific requirements for each project. The utmost care will be taken to ensure that the final product is on-brand and fit for publication.

At VeraContent, we work with expert community managers who are all native speakers in each target language and live in the target market—allowing us to gain genuine insight into the latest trends and news. Through localized content, our community managers interact directly with the local audience in the local language—ensuring your true message and storytelling genuinely connect with your audience.

We’ll define a workflow that makes you feel like we’re a part of your team, with frequent and smooth communication with all community managers and other team members—coordinated by your Project Manager, with the support of your Account Manager. That includes:

  • Coordination through Monday.com or your preferred platform for content planning, scheduling and approval
  • Weekly or monthly project update meetings with your Project Manager
  • Quarterly strategy review meetings with both your Project Manager and Account Manager
  • Availability of your Project Manager via chat ( Slack or Teams) during working hours

You do. Each client has full intellectual property rights to all content produced by our team on their behalf and may publish and alter the content in any way they please. The only exception is a refunded assignment, in which case we retain the rights to the content. Regarding content that features models or content creators from our network, we typically offer perpetual image usage rights for organic content and 1-year image usage rights for advertising campaigns. If there are any exceptions, we will let you know before creating the content, and if you need longer usage rights for advertising, that can always be negotiated.

We work in practically all common file formats. Whether you need to translate a simple Word document, a corporate brochure or an entire website, you’ll receive your translated files in the same format in which they were submitted. We’re especially adept at working directly within Adobe file formats (including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and are skilled at reformatting files as needed to make sure the final design fits the text in the target language. We use advanced translation software in order to handle web and software application files (.xml, .html, .htm, .strings, .po, .yml and .xliff, among many others), so that the translator doesn’t see the code—only the text to translate. This ensures that there are no changes to the code. Please contact us if you have any questions about a particular file type. It’s time to centralize and streamline your brand’s global content operations with VeraContent. Your journey to content marketing success in international markets starts here.

In general, we only take on projects that are primarily in European languages. But if you’re looking for centralized management of a project that includes some other major world markets, we can help.

We have an exceptional team of  writers, editors and translators with extensive experience working on texts intended for mass publication. All of our team members and freelancers are native speakers of the languages they work in and experts in their craft.

We’ll assign a dedicated project manager to oversee the work of the linguists assigned to your project. They will be available during our normal working hours to accept new assignments and update you on the status of your project.

We always consider the subject matter, style and requirements of each project in order to choose the best professionals for the job. The utmost care will be taken to ensure that the final product is error-free and fit for publication.

Our in-house team of project managers and editors is based in Madrid, Spain, where our office is located, and we work with a network of trusted collaborators all over Europe and the world. If your project requires us to keep a pulse on local trends, we can ensure that the writers, translators or community managers involved are physically located in each market in question.

Absolutely. While our bread and butter is written content creation and translation, graphic design plays a significant role in many of our projects. We regularly create  infographics for blogs and branded social media assets to complement our written work.

We’re also experts at translating documents within common publishing formats, such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.  We always prefer to work directly in these types of files, rather than extracting the plain text, so that we can ensure the content is displayed correctly in the final design.

Our minimum turnaround time for small, urgent assignments is four hours. However, the more time we have to complete an assignment, the less it will cost you.

We offer three levels of urgency.  An extra fee of 20% is charged on top of the agreed-upon base rate for express assignments, and 50% for urgent assignments.

  • Standard: Submission in a minimum of three to five working days for projects requiring up to 10 hours of work per language.
  • Express: Submission in one to three working days for projects requiring up to 10 hours of work per language.
  • Urgent: Submission in less than 24 hours for projects requiring up to 10 hours of work per language. Any assignment that must be submitted outside of our normal working hours is also considered “urgent.”

For projects requiring more than 10 hours of work per language, deadlines will be calculated proportionally and confirmed upon acceptance of the assignment.

For high-volume projects with a predictable workflow, we may be able to offer a faster turnaround time at the standard rate. Get in touch with us to explain the details of your project, and we’ll confirm which rate would apply.

For projects that involve ongoing work of a similar nature, we agree on a set number of hours per assignment or task at the start of the project. This number may need to be adjusted if the scope of the work changes.

The time spent on each assignment will be shared with you in automated weekly updates, along with the amount of hours remaining in the pack.

Yes. We charge for test assignments and will provide an exact quote once the assignment is received.

If for any reason  you’re not happy with the assignment, we’ll offer a full refund.
