Social Media Marketing Project Manager (Native-level English)
VeraContent is a multilingual content and social media agency specialized in creating and localizing content for global brands. We manage large global social media and content marketing projects for multinational companies operating worldwide.
As a Social Media Marketing Project Manager at VeraContent, you will be the main point of contact for several of our ongoing social media projects for major brands.
You would be responsible for making sure the creative vision set for the project is carried out, and that we meet client expectations and deadlines, all within our budget.
A key part of the role is coordinating and supporting a team of freelance social media managers, community managers, content creators, videographers, editors and graphic designers. You would form part of a team of five project managers who report to the Head of Project Management.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the monthly creation of content calendars, participating in the creative process, and giving ongoing strategic direction
- Creating crystal clear creative briefs for content creators that get across the client’s and our vision for each piece of content
- Onboarding new projects, assembling the right team, and setting up and maintaining efficient workflows using our project management tools (e.g. Monday.com)
- Overseeing that all social media managers, content creators and designers adhere to each client’s brand guidelines for each video/graphic they create
- Giving your creative input to graphic assets, videos and campaigns produced for the client
- Participating in and coordinating strategy workshops to set the initial strategy with each new client
- Holding quarterly strategy review meetings with your clients, reviewing content performance and being proactive in suggesting ways to improve results on social media with different content approaches & tactics
- Deciding how to allocate budget on freelancers and tools used for each project to ensure profitability
- Providing ongoing training and feedback to freelance and in-house contributors so they continuously improve, and adapt to each projects’ needs
- Holding community managers, content creators and designers accountable to meeting deadlines, allocating hours to projects and completing quality checks
- Documenting the details of each project and its status in our project management software (Podio)
- Participating in initiatives to improve processes and promote knowledge sharing across the department, in coordination with the Head of Project Management
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, as we deal with clients in these languages. A native level of English, and at least intermediate Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent judgment on what makes great written and multimedia content, and ability to transmit clear instructions to your team.
- Experience working with cloud-based project management and content creation tools, as well as freelancer management platforms. For example, we use Monday.com (for content planning) and Veed.io (for video management & editing), among other tools.
- A strong interest in growing as a project and people manager. A motivated self-starter who is always looking to grow, learn and improve.
