Project Manager for Global Editorial & Social Media Agency

VeraContent is a multilingual content agency specialized in creating and managing editorial and social media projects for global brands. We offer content creation, marketing translation, global social media and design services to companies operating worldwide, with a focus on European markets. 

As an Editorial Project Manager at VeraContent, you will oversee a portfolio of editorial projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, deadlines and budgets. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and will coordinate an international team of freelance and in-house editors, writers, translators, content curators and visual content creators.

This role reports to the Head of Project Management and is ideal for someone with a background in journalism, digital media or content marketing, and who enjoys managing teams and optimizing workflows.

Key responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships by proactively understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Recruiting, onboarding and managing freelancers across multiple markets.
  • Managing budgets for each assigned project in order to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Overseeing editorial workflows, from content curation and creation to quality control and publication.
  • Creating clear, concise briefs that reflect client expectations and editorial standards.
  • Providing training and feedback to freelance and in-house linguists and editors to maintain high-quality content.
  • Monitoring project status using internal project management tools and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless content delivery, in coordination with the Head of Project Management.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; a high level of Spanish is preferred.
  • Previous experience in editorial project management, content marketing, journalism or digital media (agency or in-house).
  • Strong writing and editing skills in at least one of our core languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German or Dutch.
  • Experience managing freelancers or editorial teams.
  • A motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and improve processes.
