Freelance LinkedIn Community Manager (English)

VeraContent is a multilingual content agency specialized in creating and localizing content for global brands. We offer content creation, marketing translation, social media localization and design services in multiple languages to companies operating worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced freelance LinkedIn Community Manager to oversee the management of three high-profile LinkedIn accounts associated with a renowned academic institution. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a deep understanding of LinkedIn’s platform and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage three separate LinkedIn accounts, ensuring they are well-maintained and updated regularly.
  • Community Engagement: Send connection requests, initiate and maintain conversations, and flag any comments or messages that require attention from the internal team.
  • Content Scheduling: Schedule and post content.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor account activity, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to the internal team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent English writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and informative content.
  • Proven experience in LinkedIn community management, with a strong understanding of the platform’s features and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with the university sector and its specific audience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn trends and best practices for building and growing online communities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn analytics tools and other relevant software.
  • Based in the Central European (CET) time zone

Additional Considerations

  • The candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with content management systems and social media scheduling tools is a plus.
  • The candidate must be registered as a freelance worker and able to work independently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Estimated workload: Approximately 22 hours per month.
  • Start date: October 2024.
