German copy: Garantiert kein Fashion-Fauxpas: die neuen PopGrips aus veganem Leder 👜 #PopSockets
What we did:
This is one example of many social media posts that we localize from English into German for PopSockets’ Instagram and Facebook accounts, inspired by the provided images and guidelines.
In this case, the play on words (“faux” sounds like “for” in English) didn’t work in German. The challenge was to include the word “faux” in a way that sounded natural and witty. The idea of the German copy is: “No fashion faux pas, guaranteed: new PopGrips made of vegan leather 👜 #PopSockets”
