Visable, which runs B2B online marketplaces across European markets, trusts VeraContent for content creation and localization in four European languages.

The Challenge
Visable’s business model centers around providing valuable advice and insights to European companies engaged in international business. They own and manage europages, a platform offering resources on global business trends, regulations and market conditions.
While Visable creates its content primarily in German, they require localization for other key markets, including the UK, France, Spain and Italy.
The challenge lies in adapting this content effectively for different European audiences. Directly translating German content often results in irrelevant or uninteresting information for other markets, as specific examples, trends and regulations may not apply.
“Articles on Germany’s job market or industry trends are often country-specific. Simply translating them may not be relevant to the intended audience. We need to rewrite based on local research. While some content can be reused if situations are similar, other topics—like inflation rates, for example—often require a complete rework,” Aurélie Berson, Project Manager at VeraContent, said.
In-depth market research and localization are needed to rewrite and adapt the content to suit each country’s unique situation and audience. Even better, personalized insights from locally based writers are needed.
Additionally, finding linguists who can translate from German into French, Spanish and Italian is much harder than sourcing German-to-English translators. High-quality translators for these language pairs are rarer and often have a higher price tag.
Our Solution
We provide content creation and localization services to optimize posts across Visable’s blogs, including content for Visable 360, Inside Business (wlw) and europages.
Our primary focus is adapting German articles for the UK, French, Spanish and Italian markets, ensuring relevance and country-specific insights. We assess each piece to decide whether it requires direct translation or a complete rewrite backed by local research.
To achieve this, we’ve built a team of 10-12 specialized linguists, all native speakers in their respective countries. This allows us to stay aligned with local trends, regulations and cultural nuances, delivering content that resonates with each market.
For example, we worked on an article about the widespread strikes across various industries and blockades that began in January 2024, impacting Germany’s B2B market. Since the strikes and their effects were highly specific to Germany, we asked our linguists to research the situation in their own countries and rewrite the article, maintaining the structure but incorporating insights from their local markets.

Founded as Euredit in 1982 and online since 1995, europages further strengthens Visable’s global reach, connecting over 2.6 million companies worldwide.

We handle a high content volume, localizing four to six articles per month into four languages, amounting to up to 24 articles monthly. This showcases our team’s capacity to manage large-scale projects effectively.
